I have submitted application for mutation of my property at Umred on 27/09/2019 in the office of Dy. Superintendent of Land records ,Umred. As on date they have not entered my name,my sisters name in the property card. When I visited the office on 17/05/2023 the officer in the office told me that I am new in the office,It will take time to search the records, since it is a old case I have to apply fresh , My predecessor has not informed me about the case ,There is change in working/procedure due to computerization.
There is no check and balance system in the office ,there is no proper record keeping . After more than three years the office of Dy. Superintendent of Land records ,Umred has not done mutation and inclusion of our names in the property card/ land records.
There is display on board in their office about the CITIZEN CHARTER.But time limit indicated in the display board as per citizen Charter is not followed by this office. it is observed the Land records department at Umred is not working as per citizen charter and harassing people mentally and physically during hot summer season also. The working of Land Records department needs to be improved and they should follow the citizen charter and devise system for updating the status of application submitted by people time to time. Also contact nos. given in the letter head of Land Records department needs to be corrected and updated
